I REALLY struggle with it !!!
what is your question?
The point (1, -5) is an ordered pair for which function? so i did some work but i keep on getting the wrong one not from the choices provided
just substitute -5 for y and 1 for x in your equations and check which one will be correct.
yeah i already substitude -5 and 1 i'll tell you what i'll get
what are your choices anyways?
if you wanna see 'em here :) ƒ(x ) = 3x - 11 ƒ(x ) = 2x - 7 ƒ(x ) = -x + 9
ok so it will look like: -5=3-11 -5=-8 wrong -5=2-7 -5=-5 correct -5=1+9 -5=10 wrong
i see but then what do i do with 1??
you substitute 1 instead of x,
yeah i did substitute and I had this ƒ(x) = 5(1) + 5
wait: ƒ(x ) = 3x - 11 -5=3*1-11 -5=-8 wrong ƒ(x ) = 2x - 7 -5=2*1-7 -5=-5 correct ƒ(x ) = -x + 9 -5=1+9 -5=10 wrong
Really that's all ogo so 1 goes besides 2 thank
:)
wow thak you ,thank you i thought it will take me along time to solve it by myself but still THANSK @AlexandervonHumboldt2 you're th best !!!
