Conventional medicine is what you are used to in a modern setting, such as a physician, and treatments found in hospitals; it is also backed by numerous scientific theories. Alternative medicine is known as things such acupuncture, herbs, and spiritual medicine. Complementary medicine is a combination of both conventional and alternative medicine, not backed by scientific theory.
