Choose the system of equations that matches the following graph: http://learn.flvs.net/webdav/assessment_images/educator_algebraII_v14/02_13_mod_2_test_bankg_24.gif x-4y=-4 3x+4y=36 x+4y=-4 3x-4y=36 x+4y=-4 3x+4y=36 x-4y=-4 3x-4y=36

we can't see flvs files, you have to download it and attach it here or use a screenshot app

@bibby The lines intersect at (8,3). Does that help?

OpenStudy (bibby):

I need to hear that from mr. yee himself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hehe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok sorry i was gone mr.bibby

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (bibby):

ok, well there are 2 ways I see of going about this one involves finding the equations of the lines in y=mx+b form and the other involves plugging in the intersection point to each choice until we find our solution which one should we do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk lol. Lets go with the 2nd option.

OpenStudy (bibby):

plug in (8,3) into each choice and see which ones comes out true x=8 y=3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i know which is true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvrmnd lol

OpenStudy (bibby):

if the left hand side equals the right hand side it's true you good?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i went full retard

OpenStudy (bibby):

you never go full retard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

never go full retard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the first one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hello @bibby

OpenStudy (bibby):

I think so, let me check

OpenStudy (bibby):

hello friend I got distracted

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry thought u were gone.

OpenStudy (bibby):

x-4y=-4 3x+4y=36 solve the first one for x, we get x=4y-4 3x+4y=36 3(4y-4)+4y=36 12y-12+4y=36 16y=48 y=3

OpenStudy (bibby):

x-12=-4 x=8 looks good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so now what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@bibby

OpenStudy (bibby):

we're done?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok thank you.
