OpenStudy (anonymous):

where do the light independent of photosynthesis take place

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The light-independent reactions of photosynthesis are chemical reactions that convert carbon dioxide and other compounds into glucose. These reactions occur in the stroma, the fluid-filled area of a chloroplast outside of the thylakoid membranes. ...... "In the stroma, a dark area in chloroplasts filled with enzymes."

OpenStudy (ramzy197):

it takes place in the thylakoid membranes in the granum in the chloroplast :) this is because this is where the chlorophyll is located
