Reasons why not to get married. Young marriage leads to immaturity earl on and unnecessary conflict. in Act 1 scene 2 Paris wants to betroth Juliet, but she is far too young, and immature. While in the same scene Romeo is prowling for a rebound from his last relationship. Young marriages are full of lust because the relationship hasn't developed enough. "do not rush into love" Is the slogan for the story, as well as teenage rebellion, and utter heart break on Romeo's side.  Act 1 scene doesn't begin to cover the immature relationship Paris holds for Juliet, and Romeo for his former love.
