Question

My prayers go out to everybody affected by the attacks that happened in Paris.

My aunt always used to say she wished for world peace, I didn't understand that as a child, but I now understand it. You could say that, that is my wish for the world.

The following that I am about to post is just a lot of thoughts that I have been having and needed to express them.

I don't understand how people can kill so many innocent people. Why can't there just be world peace? And I know that I don't have all my political facts, but what I do know is that Obama shouldn't be allowing a bunch of refugees into this country, ESPECIALLY when those refugees (not all, but some, possibly many) will be disguised, when really they'll be from ISIS. We should be closing our borders, having the soldiers come home, then close the borders so NO one can get in and no one can get out. It's for the safety of this country and the people in it. Obama won't close the borders unless an attack happens here again and that's just plain insane, putting the people of this country in danger because he doesn't want our country to "have a bad image."

I myself, have done a project researching the religion of Islam, and it is actually a very peaceful religion. The terrorists that claim to be Islam are not, they are extremists. There is a difference between extremists and Islam. If I could vote next year, I would be voting for Donald Trump. We cannot risk the safety of this country because of Obama not wanting our image to look bad. We've helped so many other countries. But, I DO NOT condone or like the fact that Obama is sending troops over to the Middle East and allowing these refugees into our country. What's gonna happen when all our soldiers are in the Middle East and this country is being attacked by "refugees?" We WONT have anyone to protect us. This is a load of insanity, and I honestly don't know what our President is thinking.

My mother served this country for 24 years. My father served this country for 30 years. My grandfather, may he rest in peace, served this country for 39 years. So much of my family has served this country, they and so many other soldiers are the reason that this country has freedom. I don't ever want to see that be taken away from the people who live in this country. Honestly, our country is so far in debt, I don't know where Obama is getting the money to do all the things he does.

I want to end this statement by saying, yes I know I do NOT have all my political facts, but this is my opinion, and I needed to voice it because not being able to is really upsetting me, feel free to leave any comments that you would like. Preferably not negative. Thank you.

I agree to a certain point, these extremists need to be dealt with in a rational manner. But, we also have to look at this intellectually, there is a lot of failure here in theocracy. I am not saying the problem is the people who follow the religion of islam, but there needs to criticism to the doctrine of islam. The religion does hold many immoral principles which needs to be taught appropriately and questioned, as in if you look at the result of apostasy you will really start questioning what's going on. Note, I am not islamophobic, but looking at facts and criticizing them as I do with all religions. My love goes out to the people of Paris, and I hope we will someday figure out a way for world peace, and I will note right now that education will be the key.

Noooo, that's not what I'm saying. People tend to think criticizing certain aspects means all Muslims, but that is not the case at all. I agree there is bigotry against muslims as people which is disgusting. But this has more to do with liberal principles haha, I'm just criticizing some of the bad ideas, which we can do with many religions. I guess I shouldn't get too much into it as it requires lots of research and some politics.

In my opinion, whoever the president is or will be is not going to end terrorism. Not Obama, not Donald Trump. Can I please remind everyone of Timothy McVeigh? But I am sure many of you think of a Muslim individual when you see the term "terrorist". If you are thinking closing the borders will keep us completely safe then you are wrong. There are also a lot of refugees already in the United States (which are mostly innocent people), if the plan is to attack us, sorry to say this but they are probably already here. Don't you think they know that everyone is going to freak out and close their borders and be on guard because of France? They are not going to try and get into a country right now. May I say, what would Donald Trumps big bad military do about a few suicide bombers for example attending the new years eve event in time square and killing a bunch of people? No matter how many people enlisted in the military, it wont change the possibility of that happening.Closing the borders wont either. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I do agree that world peace would be nice.
