1) pick a film/etc that follows the format. chose something simple: toy story
2) look at each of the stages. summarize the part that the stage happens in the story.
ex: "The first stage in Campbell's Monomyth is birth. In *Toy Story* Andy received a toy spaceman Buzz Lightyear, who gets the attention with all of the other toys for being new and modern. This begins the birth of the main character Buzz Lightyear, who gave a shocking first impression"

Use the TDA format. State the stage. Define the stage. Aply the stage.

To apply the stage, summarize what happens in the corresponding film/movie. Analayze why was it important to the overall story.
