OpenStudy (df001):

how do you find the reference angle of -382.1??

OpenStudy (df001):

-382.1 is in the fourth quadrant. What quadrant rule do I use to find the reference angle? None of the rules work for it..

OpenStudy (df001):

The rules of reference angles are Quadrant I: x Quadrant II: 180 - x Quadrant III: x - 180 Quadrant IV: 360 - x

OpenStudy (jango_in_dtown):

add 360 until you get the value between 0 and 360 degree when the angle is below 0 subtract 360 until you get the value between 0 and 360 when the angle is greater than 30 degree
