What are the four aspects of communication? In other words, what four action make up communication?
@Whitemonsterbunny17 @ChantySquirrel1129**
What things do you think make up communication? Think about some ways you can use to get a message across in person. Also, think about what you may be doing when someone else is trying to get a message to you.
Speaking, Listening and Observing
Well, you've got two of them. (: Talking by voice, and listening are two very important parts of communication. Think about what you may be doing while speaking to someone. Maybe in the case of communicating with the deaf, in particular.
Signing?
Hand gestures. (:
I need four ;-;
Also, you're very close for the last one when you said "observing." The word isn't exactly observation, rather, to think about the message. When you're listening to the message that someone is sending, they're either communicating through words or gestures. These are symbols that we use in order to get certain messages across. Our minds convert these symbols into ideas, ideas that are usually generated based on information stored from past experience(s). So, after hearing or seeing the message and listening, the mind must then convert the words/gestures used into ideas that make up a message. This is \(\bf\color{lime}{interpretation.}\)
Listening, Speaking, Feedback, Refusal Skills and Paralanguage?
You have five listed there, we only need four. Speaking, Gestures, Listening, and Interpreting.
You could also replace interpreting with feedback. I just gave you a more detailed version, but you can generalize it more by replacing it with feedback.
By the way, this would technically belong in the English section, but that's okay. xD
It's my Health class though..
Oh, really? Huh, I had an English textbook that elaborated on the whole communication process. I guess you're in the right section, then! ^.^
Sorry. :p
It's okay c: Thanks for all the help!
