OpenStudy (anonymous):

The more frequently DNA replicates, the less it mutates. True or False?

OpenStudy (mtepecz):

It depends

OpenStudy (mtepecz):

I would say true because if the DNA repair mechanisms work properly the mutated DNA should get repaired.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let's say the larger a gene, the more likely it is to mutate. Would it still be true?

OpenStudy (mtepecz):

@nincompoop

OpenStudy (mtepecz):

I believe it would still be true unless there was some way to determine the amount of dna that composes the gene and then find out if the repair mechanisms work or not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm okay.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have another Question that's been getting on my nerves lately haha

OpenStudy (mtepecz):

Yes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

_______ aligns chromosomes on equator A.) Centromeres B.) Mitotic Spindles C.) Centrioles D.) Kinetochores

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I put down B.) but I am not sure

OpenStudy (mtepecz):
