⦁ To measure the distance from the U.S. to Istanbul, Turkey you would most likely use __________.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wouldn't it be miles?

OpenStudy (liv1234):

Do you have any options?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no :(

OpenStudy (liv1234):

You would have to use measurement.

OpenStudy (liv1234):

But, it's a matter of figuring out which type of measurement.

OpenStudy (xmissalycatx):

I mean let's name some forms of measurement.. There's meters, miles, inches, kilometers...

OpenStudy (dustinrathke24):

It's going to be the largest unit possible, so it either wants miles or kilometers.

OpenStudy (xmissalycatx):

It depends on if you're using the metric system though or not. If you are using metric, then you'd use miles.

OpenStudy (dustinrathke24):

Metric system uses kilometers, not miles. Miles are standard.

OpenStudy (xmissalycatx):

That's what I meant to say TBH. I'm doing something at the same time. :( I can't think. Thank you.

OpenStudy (dustinrathke24):

No problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no clue honestly. so it isn't miles?

OpenStudy (dustinrathke24):

Could be. Do you all use the metric system in this class, or do you use the standard system?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

metric

OpenStudy (dustinrathke24):

Then it wants the largest distance unit in the metric system, which would be kilometers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so kilometers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks (:

OpenStudy (dustinrathke24):

Yes.
