The answer would be B. Because, it allows you to keep track of what your information is.  It doesn't have anything to do with starting your essay, your thesis doesn't have to do with comparing or contrasting, and it doesn't keep track of your citations. You should make a list for your citations at the end of your essay or on a separate paper.(:
