In what ways did the views of W.E.B. DuBois and Booker T. Washington differ? Washington wanted a focus on liberal arts education, whereas DuBois felt the focus should be on vocational training. DuBois fought only for social equality, whereas Washington fought only for economic equality. They both fought for social equality, but only DuBois fought for economic equality. Dubois focused on achieving equality in the South, while Washington's focus was in the North.

@YoungStudier

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

What do you think?

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

@leahhhmorgannn ?

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

I was thinking B, but I'm not sure. Based on the information my lesson gave me, none of those answers are correct. But B is the closest.

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

B is not correct, what else?

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

That's the only answer I had, I have nothing else.

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

I don't think it would be C because, again according to my stupid lessons that teach us nothing, it doesn't say DuBois was even interested in the economic side of things.

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

and I don't think D because my lessons don't even mention a location. Plus, I think generally they both fought for ALL African-Americans, not just some.

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

And I couldn't figure A because it just didn't make sense to me. So why is B wrong?

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

Uhm.... This is officially the worst worded question ever.... Hold on... I gotta do some research.

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Alright.

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

Welp, according to Wikipedia, you were right. B is the one that makes the most sense. XD

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Okay lol Thanks.

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

No problem ^_^

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

Well, that was wrong.

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

O.o What was the right answer?

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

@leahhhmorgannn ?

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

It doesn't tell me.

OpenStudy (youngstudier):

Oh.... Sorry. :-/

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

It's alright, that's what I thought too. I saw nothing wrong with it.
