Question

Was the Annexation of Hawaii:
Intervention, Isolationism, or Imperialism.
I already did my research on the topic and believe it may be either:
1. Intervention because we got involved with another nations affairs causing us to officially annex hawaii (Hawaii trying to overthrow the Queen) or...
2. Imperialism because this was then used for a naval base and port and they got to expand America with it, as well as getting more money.

I already have the rest of my essay written, please help :(
