OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. I can help. Give me a moment @Tayssir

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you @Tom_Boy_Rebel

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

really quickly @Tayssir have you learned the law of cosines and law of sines yet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

Directrix (directrix):

@Tayssir Which problem are you wanting to do? Recall right triangle trig?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i attatched the page i need help with i havent learned it yet @Directrix

Directrix (directrix):

I will help with one problem and then you'll know how to do the page of problems. Give me a problem number to do, okay?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#1 @Directrix

Directrix (directrix):

#1 is not on the sheet. #14 is the first problem I see. Click on the uploaded sheet and see what you can see.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya i ment the first question @Directrix

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

ok so first question #14 let's do it and then you do the rest

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

we have a right triangle to find a and b we can use sin, cos we are given the angle measure of 37 and hypotenuse 10 recall that sin is opposite over hypotenuse so \[\sin (37)=\frac{b}{10}\Longrightarrow b=10\sin (37)\] now for a we use cos cos if you remember is adjacent over hypotenuse \[\cos(37)=\frac{a}{10} \Longrightarrow a=10\cos(37)\]

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

for final answer you need a calculator

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

all of others problems need to be done in a similar way
