I'm half native and I really don't care whatsoever. The only people who complain are native Americans looking for attention or other people who think it is offensive

Which removing Native American mascots if you think about it is offensive in itself, because removing them your saying it is wrong to depict a Native American in public, basically shunning them

My local university began using a donkey as their mascot in place of a Seminole native American. They haven't stopped using the Seminole and I don't think they should since it is such a huge part of the school's history.
