There are 5 flower gardens in front of the building where Eddie works. Eddie has 40 red and 80 white flowering plants to put in the gardens. How many plants will be in each garden, if he plants the same number in each?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wouldn't you add 40 and 80 then multiply the answer by 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is of course if you wanted to know the total of all the flowers

Frances has 4 square baking dishes. Each pan is 7 inches × 7 inches × 2 inches. Which expression will give her the total volume of all the pans? help

Can I get a medal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And volume is L•W•H so I assume you would multiple those numbers together and then you would know the volume for one pan @tasanta
