pls help and explain. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm i thought i knew how to do this but now im confused : 3

OpenStudy (whovianchick):

I know!

OpenStudy (whovianchick):

So, since the two sides (21) are equal, it's an iscosceles triangle, meaning those bottom two angles will be the same.

OpenStudy (whovianchick):

There are 180 degrees in a triangle, so 180-38=142. That's the measure of the bottom two angles combined. Divide that by 2 to get x: 142/2=71. You can check by adding them all together: 71+71+38=180 bada bing!

OpenStudy (whovianchick):

x=71 degrees

OpenStudy (avengedslipknot):

Thank you so much!! :D
