Can someone please help me with this K12 GUM question? How is the infinitive phrase used in the sentence? She plans to teach him about manners. A. adjective B. noun C. adverb I think it's C: Adverb. Is "to teach" modifying "plans"? I know this isn't English, but, no one responded over on that subject.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe it's (B) Noun :) Hope it works!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you for responding! Can I ask one more I'm not sure of? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Definitely! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks. How is the infinitive used in the sentence? He wants some water to drink. A. adjective B. adverb C. noun I feel it's B, Adverb, because it's not describing anything to be an adjective. It's also not stating a person, place or thing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're right! It is (B) :) Awesome!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks so much! I'll post my finishing results after I'm done :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Great! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And it's no problem at all! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got 40% on my test :( The first question I asked was correct, but, the water sentence was incorrect. It was A, adjective.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Aw! I'm sorry :( I probably should've done a little more research :( Are you allowed to take it again? I know that if you are using Monarch, you should be able to have the test reassigned to you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm on MAVA K12 Online Virtual school. I have two more try's. And it's O.K :) I'm going to take it again.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok. Awesome! That works out really good! I'm glad you're able to take it again :) Let me know if I can be of any more help! ( I promise to research it extra hard next time) lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I will! And you better ;D lol I'm going to take my math lesson at the moment, since I just realized I haven't finished it. But I will try my GUM assessment again and contact you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

;) Lol And alrighty that would be great! :)
