Okay so there are 12 numbers.

How many numbers from 4 - 12 are even?

You simply take that number and divide by 12.

There are 8 numbers greater than 4 and there are 2 even numbers that are 4 or less. Therefore there are 10 numbers that count as a success. The required probability is given by 10/12, which obviously can be simplified.
