@Tom_Boy_Rebel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. Lets see.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since they can't be simplified anymore... the answer would actually be D because it would stay the same!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hope this helped! Have a great day! Also a medal would be much appreciated! :) @Ms-Brains

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Thanks. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem! Any time! @Ms-Brains Be sure to become a fan so you know when I am on incase you ever need more help! :)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

You were incorrect. :(

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

4x = 5y 4x/4 = 5y/4 x = 5y/4 x*(1/y) = (5y/4)*(1/y) x/y = 5/4 I agree. You have the right answer. The ratio of x to y is 5/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What was the real answer?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

5/4 :( I got 3/5 because you were incorrect on 2 of them. but it's okay! It was only practice problems.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is there an explanation?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

No. Sorry. it said divide both sides by 4 only

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

@Tom_Boy_Rebel I show the steps as to why 5/4 is correct (scroll up)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Ms-Brains please give @jim_thompson5910 the medal instead. He got the better answer. But thank you for explaining! I will do better next time @jim_thompson5910

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I need to retake these practice problems and get an A to get to my real quiz. Can anybody check my answers again?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ask @jim_thompson5910 to check them lol

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Don't be so hard on yourself buddy @Tom_Boy_Rebel :P You were really good at helping me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
