Different systems of the body are interconnected. Think of three systems in your body and describe how they work together to keep you alive.
Sooo, you brain for example has this thing called the medulla which is at the top of your spinal cord. Your medulla controls life sustaining functions such as heartbeat, breathing etc. In turn, your nervous system is connected to your brain, which allows your brain to function. Your nervous system gets severed from your brain? Death. Sooo you brain allows your heart to beat, to an extent, and your spinal cord/nervous system allows your brain to communicate with your body! Then there's this thing called the hypothalamus, which is located right above your pituitary gland (in your brain). The hypothalamus ultimately controls your pituitary gland, and your pituitary gland is what allows the release/regulation of hormones. Sooo growth, sex, adrenaline etc. Soo without your brain, you don't have a functioning body, without your CNS you don't have a functioning brain and without certain brain functions you don't have a functioning body! There are so many more examples but that was just a "quick one".
