Sum of exterior angles always add up to 360. So if you have a n sided regular polygon if n times an exterior angle gives 360 then bingo.

I see what your saying, but the exterior angle measure of a regular octagon is 45, right? In any case, 45 is not an answer...

These exterior angles add to 900 degrees.
