OpenStudy (aamirgeelani):

is it possible for a system of number plane to exist, in which if you add a non-zero number to a certain constant number and subtract the very non-zero number from the constant number in question, and you end up getting the same results?

OpenStudy (mrnood):

not sure if this is relevant to what oyu are asking: if you have a 'modular' number - i.e suppose you have an 8 bit binary number - it can take values from 0 - 255 If you ad 1 to 255 the count 'rolls-over' and becomes 0 so if you have teh number 128 and you subtract 128 - you get 0, if you add 128 - you get 0

OpenStudy (aamirgeelani):

actually i had made a derivation using inverse circular functions, where i stumbled upon such conclusion. can share if you would like to pore over the derivation.
