OpenStudy (lovedance11):

Malina is doing a report on space travel. Which units should she use to report the distance from the earth to the moon? A.mm B.cm C.m D.km

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. So this is not really like a math question or any question... it is really just on a basis of wether you know the metric units or not. So obviously the earth and moon are far...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So clearly its not A because mm is so small!

OpenStudy (cmtboy2):

A.mm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So now you tell me... can it be B? Centimeters?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@LoveDance11

OpenStudy (cmtboy2):

D.km

OpenStudy (error1603):

D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@cmtboy2 @Error1603 Please do not give direct answers...

OpenStudy (error1603):

?

OpenStudy (cmtboy2):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but anyways it can't be B... centimeters that is way to small as well! Also can't be c... that is quite big but not for a distance through space!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So clearly it is D... Because km is the largest unit of measurement out of all of them.

OpenStudy (cmtboy2):

d

OpenStudy (lovedance11):

I don't think so @Tom_Boy_Rebel . i mean centimeters are so small compared to the earth and moon

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Guys... try to explain the answer first... @cmtboy2 @Error1603

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be D then :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hope this helped! Have a great day! Also a medal would be much appreciated! Just click best response next to my answer. Thank You! @LoveDance11

OpenStudy (error1603):

kilometers

OpenStudy (lovedance11):

Okay thank you @Tom_Boy_Rebel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem! @LoveDance11

OpenStudy (error1603):

Greed

OpenStudy (anonymous):
