OpenStudy (anonymous):

can someone teach me how

OpenStudy (smilie2015):

yeah its c because A function is a set of ordered pairs in which each x-element has only ONE y-element associated with it. if u need more explaination i will explain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you explain pleaseee

OpenStudy (smilie2015):

in A option -5 iis x element and is associated with two elements 1 and 2 so it is not function. B -2 is x element associated with two elements 0 and 2 and in D 6 is x element associated with two of y elements 4 and 3 so they can not be functions

OpenStudy (smilie2015):

as for function it is required that x element can be paired or associated with only one y element

thank you
