TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Hi

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Sup XD

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Do you know that the sign will flip when you multiply by a negative number on both sides?

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

No?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Ok, so you should remember that.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

For example -x > 3 When you multiply -1 on both sides the sign will flip. That means it will go from > to < So -x * -1 > -3 * -1 x < 3 That's just an example :P

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So we need to multiply both sides by -4, and don't forget to flip the sign. Think you can do that? :)

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Yeah :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Mathematica program's answer is not listed in A. through D. \[\text{Reduce}\left[-\frac{r}{4}<8\right]=r>-32 \]

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Woah. O_O Thats confusing.

OpenStudy (jb1625):

The answer is r>−32

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

Thanks <3

OpenStudy (jb1625):

Np
