Mark the statement if it accurately describes Magellan’s expedition. A. Three of the original five ships returned home to Spain. B. The Pacific Ocean was far wider than Magellan had anticipated. C. The expedition crossed three major oceans—the Pacific, the Atlantic, and the Indian.
A is not true, because only 1 ship returned.
C is technically right, but I'm not sure if they're gonna get you on a technicality. Magellan did not go from point A to B. He went to the Indian ocean, one direction and then went the other direction from the atlantic to the pacific. So he went in 2 different directions, but I guess you could consider that the entire expedition.
But B is also true, because Magellan expected the trip through the Pacific ocean to be very quick, but it took a month to reach the middle of it. So this question sucks lol.
