I have this question on my homework ( I have the answer in the back of the book, but I need to know how to do it) it reads: use the properties of logarithims to expand the expression as a sum, difference, and/or constand multipl of logarithims. then I am given log(base 5)5x^2. First off what is it asking? Secondly, can you show me in detailed step by step instructions on how to do it? (preferrably all in one comment? That's how I learn best!) Thanks for helping!
