@Whitemonsterbunny17 Are you able to help me out on this one?

Directrix (directrix):

Quad RXZT is a trapezoid. Segment SY is the median because it joins the midpoints of the two non-parallel sides of the trapezoid.

Directrix (directrix):

The median has measure: SY = (1/2) * (RX + TZ)

Directrix (directrix):

I looked at the diagram again. Something is missing. We are asked to find x and there is no x on the diagram. There are no numbers on the diagram. Please check your text and post all information about this problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Directrix X is right up in the right hand corner of the diagram? Im confused?

Directrix (directrix):

You are looking at point X of the trapezoid. The chart asks about the value of x (lower case).

Directrix (directrix):

There is nothing I can do to help without all the information for the problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Directrix There is only one X on the trapezoid and there is one X on the chart. I would assume that means it wants you to find X on the trapezoid then the blank next to the X on the chart would be where you would write your answer for X?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Directrix Nevermind I see what you mean. Sorry for wasting your time.

Directrix (directrix):

There has to be more information about the problem in your text. If only, you would look and post it....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Directrix I appreciate your willingness to help but there's nothing I can do. Im going to have to wait till tomorrow to tell my teacher the document didn't open right on my laptop.

Directrix (directrix):

Okay. Post the new diagram and we'll work together to give the problem another try. @bobbyjack1200
