the midpoint of the line joining (x1 ,y1) and (x2, y2) is 

[(x1 + x2)/2 ,    (y1 + y2)/2]

so plug in the given values and you can find y.

you only need to find a y value 
so you have 
(y - 15)/2 = -5

find y
