A law where when the elements are arranged in order of their atomic numbers they end up showing a periodic difference of atomic structure and of most of their properties. I hope that helps (≧∇≦)/

Mendeleev's law, also called periodic law stated as the properties of the elements are periodic functions of their atomic numbers. or With Moseley's contribution the Periodic Law can be restated: Similar properties recur periodically when elements are arranged according to increasing atomic number.
