Today I am writing a dialogue between two people with the debate over anti-imperialists vs. imperialists. There is some info that I need help on..
What was the American foreign policy between 1890–1920 and the debate over imperialism?
Also:
-the countries that the United States occupied or acquired
-the reasons some Americans supported imperialism
-the reasons other Americans opposed imperialism

I could really use the help! Or if someone just wants to point me in the right direction. Thank you!

Countries...Philippines, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Nicaragua, partial Honduras and Panama. Those that favored imperialism thought it would be good for US business, good for US prestige, would compete with the European colonial powers. Those against, that it was morally wrong, expensive and countries deserved independence.
