You have seen the benefits and ethical issues that arise regarding genetic engineering demonstrated in these lessons. For this question, you will need to choose a stance on one of these issues. Do you think it is ethical to intentionally modify or insert mutations into the DNA of an organism? Do you think it is okay for human beings to pick and choose their offspring’s DNA if they have the means to do so?
