OpenStudy (unique_am_i):

NEED HELP ASAP! Need to solve the system of equations algebraically and show all the steps. y=x^2+2x y=3x+20

OpenStudy (unique_am_i):

Leave. This is for home work not stupid crap people find funny on the internet. If you don't have the ability to help them don't. Goodbye. :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (netlopes1):

I tried... please look that and answer me what you think...:

OpenStudy (unique_am_i):

I'm saying this because I literally have no clue what I'm doing, but all I see are numbers and arrows... I've got dyslexia and math just doesn't work for me in any form...

OpenStudy (netlopes1):

This is your first exercise about this math topic?

OpenStudy (netlopes1):

If you have another question like this, you could compare them, step by step, and this would be a good way to start, ok?

OpenStudy (unique_am_i):

No it's not, but my brain doesn't keep any information when it comes to math, and the information it does keep I can do nothing with because I can't figure out how to use the same formula with different numbers.

OpenStudy (netlopes1):

Of course, you can disregard my attached file.

OpenStudy (unique_am_i):

I swear I've got the brain of a 5 year old when it comes to math, yet I need 5 credits in math to graduate this year. I have no idea what I' doing, and my teacher doesn't help with it either...

OpenStudy (netlopes1):

Well, well.... It means that every math question is a new math question... excuse me but I am looking for a way to help

OpenStudy (netlopes1):

I will try to help but, first, I need to learn how to do this. Sorry.

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

we can solve your system, using the transitive property of equality, namely the elimination method. So, we can write this: \[\Large {x^2} + 2x = 3x + 20\] which is a quadratic equation. Please solve such equation first

OpenStudy (unique_am_i):

@Michele_Laino So would it be 2x^3=23x? And then I just have to find out what X is right?
