In the title and in section IV, why does the author place quotation marks around the word greatness? A) to stress its importance B) to show he wonders if it is an accurate word C) to show that it was actually spoken by the author D) to stress the size and number of Shakespeare's works

Well, I think it saying basically that everyone says that Shakespere's plays are amazing, or 'great' so he's wondering if the word 'great' is actually accurate ( I, personally, think they are amazing works of playwriting).
