you can eliminate a couple answers by plugging in x=0 and y=-4 into all the equations in the answer choice.

For example, for f(x) = −16x^2, if you plug in x=0 and y=-4, the equation is -4=-16(0)^2, which is not valid. So you know that is for sure not the right answer.
