I think it's B, because despite A being about how things will follow the same rules as they do now, it's not as much a universal physics thing as a mechanical dynamics thing. Yea I say B.
Remember uniformitarianism is the idea that the way the universe works now is they way it always has and always will, which would make sense for B because the streak of the rock now is the same as it always has been and always will be.
