1. Compare and contrast the terms like genotype and phenotype. 2. Define and describe sexual reproduction. 3. Define and describe asexual reproduction. 4. What is the difference between mitosis and meiosis? 5. Explain two examples of bioengineering 6. Give two examples of organelles and describe what they do in the cell.

1. Genotype is the set of genetic codes that determine the character of an individual in its DNA, whereas phenotype is the physical appearance represented by an individual as a result of its genetic code. 2. Sexual reproduction is the one that requires both male and female gametes to interact and form an offspring, most likely via meiosis. 3. Asexual reproduction does not require 2 different gametes to interact and an offspring is formed by mitosis. 4. Mitosis is a reproductive process that involves in production of an offspring with the exact same genetic characters as its progenitor, whereas meiosis consists in the formation of an offspring with results from equations and combinations of genes of the progenitors to form a new character. 5. Formation of clones - Consists in forming beings identical to a pre-existing one in an artificial manner. I cannot think of another one. 6. Mitochondria - Burns sugar to form energy. Nucleus - Stores the DNA of the cell.
