it would be B. because 1cm=100km then you have 35km left so thats a .35cm and 1+.35=1.35cm+135km
so u have been told that 1cm on the map represents 100km and u want to find how much is the distance between 2 cities on the map :) in real the distance between the cities is 135km and u hav to find the distance between cities on the map so basically you have to find how much distance on the map will represent 135km u know that 1cm on map= 100km so 1cm on map------>100km 1st lets find out how much does 1km is on the map so divide both sides with 100 1/100 cm on map----->100/100 km 1/100 cm on map----->1km now we gotta find 135km on map so multiply both sides with 135 1/100 x 135 cm on map------>1x135km 13.5cm on map----->135km so 13.5 is your answer :)
