the slope is negative as its like \

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

To find the slope of a line you have to find: \[\frac{ dy }{ dx } = \frac{ y_{2} - y_{1} }{ x_{2} - x_{1} }\] Pick any two points from the figure that you're sure of it's value : I will pick easy ones like: (0,8) , (6,4) Now substitute in the formula: 4 - 8 / 6- 0 = -4/6 = -2/3 ( slope)
