A scientist is studying the growth of a particular species of plant. He writes the following equation to show the height of the plant f(n), in cm, after n days: f(n) = 12(1.03)n Part A: When the scientist concluded his study, the height of the plant was approximately 16.13 cm. What is a reasonable domain to plot the growth function? (4 points)

OpenStudy (readergirl12):

16.13=12(1.03)^n Solve for N.

OpenStudy (ghostgate):

Well it sounds like your equation is this: 12(1.03)n = 16.13 - So, multiply: 12.36n = 16.13 - Divide: n = 1.31 (Estimated.) However I'm probably wrong here. I hope this helps in someway! Have a great day! ;) {---Ghostgate---} @readergirl12 What makes you conclude that the "n" is really "^n"?

OpenStudy (readergirl12):

Sorry..I thought I was supposed to be squared.. >.<

Also.. I know this isn't relevant to the question but...@Roseamora you shouldn't fake profile pictures...It's kinda sad.. :c http://www.polyvore.com/hairstyles_pictures_funky_black_emo/thing?id=99133684
