The 2y gets added to the y and the 2x gets taken away from the 3x.

What i got was \[3x ^{4}y ^{5}-2x+5\] but i wasnt sure...

No that is incorrect because the 3x and the 2x can be simplified. Also, the y is not y^5 because the y is 2y not y^2.
