read the text below from the US Constitution:
amendment three- quartering of soldiers
no soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, Nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

in what way does the amendment three protect the rule of law!
A) since it is not legal for military to invade someone's home outside the limits of the law, citizens are protected from an unjust military

In the third amendment it says "No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in manner to be prescribed by law" this means that when there isnt a war occuring, no soldiers can be quartered (temporarily living) in someone's house without their approval.
