It takes her car 5 seconds to make this increase in speed. What is Lanie’s acceleration during this time? 12 mph/second 28 mph/second 16 mph/second 4 mph/second

OpenStudy (baru):

do you know the formula for acceleration?

OpenStudy (noahbred):

umm I think I do but I don't really get how to sole for the 5 seconds

OpenStudy (baru):

can u type the formula for acceleration?

OpenStudy (noahbred):

velocity = distance/time or v =d/t i think

OpenStudy (baru):

thats velocity i'm asking for acceleration

OpenStudy (baru):

note* speed and velocity in this question mean the same thing

OpenStudy (baru):

\[acceleration=\frac{ change~ In ~ velocity }{time ~elapsed }\]

OpenStudy (noahbred):

acceleration = time or a = v ?

OpenStudy (baru):

^ look at the formula i wote
