OpenStudy (nikkibxox):

Okay, 1st thing; Pair always means two. 2nd thing, Do you know what congruent means?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, that they're equal

OpenStudy (nikkibxox):

Basically, Yeah! They will mesure the same but basically they just have to be the same shape. It can be smaller or large, or tilted. Ect. So, their are two pairs of triangles and they are asking are both congruent. What do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know? I think there's either 2 or 4?

OpenStudy (nikkibxox):

There are two pairs. There is 4 triangles but a pair=2 and Its asking how many pairs. If there were 6 individual triangles there would be 3 pairs. Does that make sence?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, thank you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

don't forget that there could be overlapping triangles

OpenStudy (nikkibxox):

I think they did that to trick the people. No, Problem!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

keybee17, Wait so, the answer may not be 3?

OpenStudy (nikkibxox):

It's not 3 .-. It's two. There is only 4 individual triangles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are six triangles, if you count two as one

OpenStudy (anonymous):
