a?
thanks! it was right, but im so confused on how to solve these. like it gave me another one but harder, and the lesson makes no sense.
f(x) = x - 7 call that equation f g(x) = x^3 so... g(f(x)) call it g(f) g(f) = f^3 and f = x - 7 so g(f) = f^3 g(f) = (x - 7)^3
ok for the new question (f+g)(x)
... i think that means u add the 2 equations together so for example if f(x) = 2x +1 and g(x) = 10x - 2 then (f+g)(x) would be 2x + 1 + 10x -2 = 12x -1 does that make sense?
@marcelie make sure you don't give someone the answers without guiding them through it. It is agaist the anti cheating policy. Just wanted to tell you before you got in trouble
okay i get it now! what about if theres a x^2 involved. like lets say F(x)=2x+1 and g(x)=10x^2-2. how would you do that? (i just added the X^2 to the previous problem
