Can you help me solve this 1/x +5=7

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Is your question: \(\sf \Large \frac{1}{x} + 5 = 7\)

OpenStudy (lillian_a):

Multiply both sides by x to get rid of the deominator

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

First subtract 5 on both sides. :)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

@thevi

OpenStudy (lillian_a):

that would have made a difference

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Well, your way works too @Lillian_A but we can do it after we subtract 5 on both sides :)
