You are buying hamburger and chicken for a barbecue. The hamburger costs $3.52 per pound and the chicken costs $4.57 per pound. You have $40 to spend. Find the rate of growth showing your work. can someone please example to me how to find the rate of growth?

Well, lets start with the burgers, shall we? Rounding, its $3.50. If you want to know how much you can get, multiply! (Or divide. :P) $3.50*5 1/2lbs is $19.25
Now, for the chicken! :P
4.50*4 1/2=20.25 dollars. So, you can have only a4 1/2 of chicken and 5 1/2 pounds of burgers!
