Help asap plz Use ΔDEF to answer the question. What is tan D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tangent=opposite/adjacent. do you have any ideas which sides that would be?

OpenStudy (stylesprettygirl):

^No it would be amazing if you could explain it please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if you are looking at angle D, the opposite side is EF and the adjacent side (the side next to the angle) is DE. now take the lengths of those sides and divide (EF/DE) to get the tangent of D

OpenStudy (stylesprettygirl):

Thank you!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem! :)

OpenStudy (stylesprettygirl):

So it would be 15/8 right?

OpenStudy (stylesprettygirl):

**** 8/15****

OpenStudy (anonymous):
